Bank Telephone Triage Pharmacist

Bank Triage Pharmacist for Weekends and Public Holidays
Zero Hours Contract at £30.00 per hour

Based at our Cockfosters site, close to Cockfosters Tube Station, Piccadilly Line and plenty of local amenities

Barndoc Healthcare Ltd are looking for dynamic, experienced pharmacists with Independent Prescribing Status, to help with minor ailments and repeat prescribing. Successful candidates will be required to provide care for patients in Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and parts of Brent, working alongside GP and Nurse colleagues.

Applicants must have highly developed clinical knowledge. An ability to make autonomous decisions is paramount.  In addition to these clinical skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills will be evident in the successful candidate’s application.

Barndoc Healthcare Ltd is seeking hard working, committed, flexible and proactive staff to join our existing team. BHL is a dynamic organisation that primarily offers out of hours GP care across Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and parts of Brent.

We are seeking pleasant individuals with an established telephone manner along with strong administrative and IT skills. You will be confident in nature with the ability to work independently to support the operational delivery of the service.
Based within a small team at Chase Farm Hospital, the role will involve checking in patients at bases, despatching and tracking GP visits, as well as undertaking a range of administrative tasks.

This is a bank staff role (zero hours) working overnights and bank holidays on a sessional basis.

Referral Management Services Administrator

Barndoc Healthcare Ltd is seeking hard working, committed, flexible and proactive staff to join our existing team. BHL is a dynamic organisation that primarily offers out of hours GP care across Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and parts of Brent.
Service growth means opportunities have arisen to join our team of Referral Management Service (RMS) Administrators. The role is based at our modern Cockfosters offices, adjacent to Cockfosters tube station.

This vital role includes being the first point of contact with the public and liaising with staff at GP Surgeries.

Successful candidates must be able to project a professional image at all times and demonstrate an excellent telephone manner.  Previous experience of working in a customer service environment is essential and applicants will be required to demonstrate their keyboard skills if selected for interview.  The ability to communicate well, both in writing and verbally, is also a key requirement. 

The role includes processing patient referrals for our Referral Management Service. Candidates must therefore possess excellent administrative skills and be able to multitask effectively.  Candidates are required to be able to work well as part of a team and have the ability to remain calm and focussed under pressure.  
These are full time posts working 5 days per week, either Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Sunday. We can also be flexible with your working hours, so long as the 7.5 working hours per day are completed between 8am and 8pm. There are some opportunities for overtime once training is complete.

Week Day Night: £20.79 10pm to 8am

Barndoc Healthcare Ltd are looking for dynamic, experienced nurses with a passion for clinical excellence and high quality nursing care.  Successful candidates will be required to provide care for patients in Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and parts of Brent, working alongside GP colleagues.

Applicants must have at least 3 years post registration experience, and a highly developed clinical knowledge in community nursing.  An ability to make autonomous decisions is paramount, as is proficiency in providing palliative care.  In addition to these clinical skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills will be evident in the successful candidate’s application.

Transformation Project Manager

As part of an extensive transformational change programme at Barndoc Healthcare Limited (BHL), we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to support our organisation in achieving its digital vision.

This is an exciting time to join us as we continue through the systems specification and selection phase of a new integrated urgent care service. The Transformation project manager will lead a number of ‘readiness’ projects to prepare us for the configuration and implementation of various clinical systems on a stable infrastructure.

The position is available on a 6 months contract (until 30th Nov 2016) and will work primarily with the Information Management and Technology (IM&T) department, while supporting the Urgent Care Transformation Programme. We welcome applicants with IT project management or Transformation, and clinical systems background.

This role requires flexibility to work at multiple locations and with our partners across sites in North Central London and to attend meetings at various locations as required.

Our Urgent Care digital vision is:

  • To develop a patient centred, pathway-wide record of care so that every member of our 111/OOH team caring for patient can always access the relevant information required rapidly and from a single place.

Our Urgent Care Transformation & IT programmes are framed by the “Managing Successful Programmes” standard and within it we are running projects using the PRINCE2 methodology. The successful candidate will have strong core values in line with those at BHL, experience in clinical system or IT based project or programme management and a strong successful track record of leadership and delivery.
